Songhoy Blues | Resistance

I expected a very folk album, letting myself be distracted by the category assigned to this album by Discogs, but I rather enjoyed an exercise that is more akin to funk with a touch of rock and blues. It's playful and dancing. The album doesn't really have a weak point. It's a pleasure to let go the basin to the rhythms of this band from Mali. Very highly recommended for fans of African rhythms or funk / rock lovers. Allmusic rating: 4 stars Listen on Apple Music
